Step into the heart of the classic South, and enter a world of hospitality, higher education and history. East Georgia is home to Georgia's flagship university, a top-tier luxury resort, quaint bed and breakfasts, and arguably one of the most famous golf courses in the world. 

There is plenty of adventure to be found in East Georgia on land and on water. Among several lakes in the region, Lakes Oconee and Sinclair offer opportunities for recreation virtually year-round thanks to the mild climate of the region.
